Simple Translation

516. You who sleep on the deep milky ocean took the form of a lion to destroy Hiranyan and saved Gajendra from the mouth of the crocodile. When we saw you and fell in love with you, you looked at us out of the corner of your eye and didn’t worry about what we might think. We worked hard to make our houses with soft sand and our bangled hands hurt. O lord, you rest on the ocean where clear waves roll. Do not come and destroy our little sand houses.
