O Nārāyaṇa! Do Not Destroy Our Little Sand Houses.

நாராயணா! எங்கள் சிற்றிலைச் சிதையாதே

514 நாமமாயிர மேத்தநின்ற நாராயணா! நரனே! * உன்னை
மாமிதன்மக னாகப்பெற்றா லெமக்குவாதை தவிருமே *
காமன்போதரு காலமென்றுபங்குனிநாள்கடை பாரித்தோம் *
தீமைசெய்யும்சிரீதரா! எங்கள் சிற்றில்வந்து சிதையேலே. (2)

Simple Translation

514. O Nārāyanā praised with a thousand names, You took the human form If we are able to wed You, the son of Yashodā, our distress will get destroyed. We do nombu in the month of Panguni because that is the month when Kama comes. O Sridhara, don’t bother us, don’t come and destroy our little sand houses.
