One Day, Will Kaṇṇaṉ Speak the Truth?

ஒருநாள் கண்ணன் உண்மை சொல்வானா?

635 கொம்மைமுலைகளிடர்தீரக் கோவிந்தற்கோர்குற்றேவல் *
இம்மைப்பிறவிசெய்யாதே இனிப்போய்ச்செய்யும்தவந்தானென் *
செம்மையுடையதிருமார்வில் சேர்த்தானேலும்ஒருஞான்று *
மெய்ம்மைசொல்லிமுகம்நோக்கி விடைதான்தருமேல்மிகநன்றே.

Simple Translation

635. If I cannot serve Govindan in this birth, that will relieve me of my bosoms' pain, what is the use of doing tapas in the future? If he embraces me with his chest it would be good, or if he looks at me and tells me the truth to my face, it would also be good. Isn’t it better if he tells me the truth?”
