629 கஞ்சைக்காய்ந்தகருவல்லி கடைக்கணென்னும்சிறைக்கோலால் *
நெஞ்சூடுருவவேவுண்டு நிலையும்தளர்ந்துநைவேனை *
அஞ்சேலென்னானவனொருவன் அவன்மார்வணிந்தவனமாலை *
வஞ்சியாதேதருமாகில் மார்வில்கொணர்ந்துபுரட்டீரே.

Simple Translation

629. “He killed Kamsan and With his strong bow-like eyebrows, He pierces my heart through the glances from the corners of his eyes, like sharp spears that make me weak and hurt. But he doesn’t tell me, “Don’t be afraid!. ” O mothers, if that matchless lord gives the garland from his chest and doesn’t cheat me, bring it and spread it on my chest. ”
