திருத்துழாய் மாலையை எனக்குச் சூட்டுங்கள்

மானமிலாமையும்வாய்வெளுப்பும் *
உண்ணலுறாமையுமுள்மெலிவும்
ஓதநீர்வண்ணனென்பானொருவன் *

சூட்டத்தணியும் * பிலம்பன்றன்னைப்
பண்ணழியப்பலதேவன்வென்ற

Simple Translation

623. “I am growing pallid, my mind is confused and I have no sense of shame. My mouth is becoming pale, I am unable to eat or sleep and I am growing thin. If the ocean- colored god puts on me His cool thulasi garland, all these problems will go away. Take me to the banyan tree where BalaRāma conquered the Asuran Pilamban and leave me there. ”
