2144 தோளவனையல்லால்தொழா * என்செவியிரண்டும்
கேளவனது இன்மொழியேகேட்டிருக்கும் * - நாநாளும்
கோணாகணையான் குரைகழலேகூறுவதே *
நாணாமைநள்ளேன்நயம்.

Simple Translation

2144. My hands worship nothing but him. My ears hear only his sweet words. I will not think of any pleasure except praising the sounding anklets on the feet of the lord whose arrows never miss their targets. Anyone should feel ashamed to desire any pleasure but that.

"thŏl̤ avanai allāl thozhā" - My shoulders, even if commanded to worship another, shall not bow down to anyone but Emperumān. Regardless of whether Emperumān offers protection or abstains from it, my devotion remains unwavering, exclusively reserved for Him.
