திருத்துழாயானைப் பூசித்தால் மனமாசு தீரும்

பூந்துழாயானடிக்கே போதொடுநீரேந்தி *

Simple Translation

2124. If devotees carry flowers and water and go to him to worship his feet, the fault in their minds and the results of their bad karmā will disappear and they will achieve whatever they want.

புனம் மேய — செழுமையுடன் கூடின; பூந் துழாயான் — துளசிமாலை அணிந்திருக்கும்; அடிக்கே — எம்பெருமான் திருவடிகளுக்கே; போதொடு நீர் ஏந்தி — புஷ்பங்களோடு தீர்த்தமும்; தமர் தாம் — எடுத்துக்கொண்டு அடியார்கள்; தொழா நிற்பார் — வணங்குவார்கள் அதனால்; மன மாசு — மனதிலிருக்கும் அஞ்ஞானம்; தீரும் — அழுக்கு நீங்கும்; அறு வினையும் — தீராத பாபங்களும்; சாரா — அணுகாது; தனம் ஆய — செல்வமாகிய பரமபக்தியும்; தானே கை கூடும் — தானே வந்து சேரும்

punam mĕya pūm thuzhāyān — emperumān who is adorned with thul̤asi garland which blossoms as if it is on its own land [even when it is on emperumān‚Äôs divine form]; adikkĕ — to his divine feet; pŏdhodu nīr ĕndhi — taking flower and¬† sacred water; thamar — his followers; thām — themselves; thozhā niṛpar — will keep worshipping; manammāsu thīrum — all the faults in their minds such as ignorance etc will exit; aru vinaiyum sārā — sins which cannot be got rid of, will not come anywhere nearby; dhanamāya — the wealth of kainkaryam (service to emperumān); thāne kaikūdum — will come on its own

Manamāsu Tīrum – When Ēmperumāṇ is worshiped, all the defects in the mind shall dissipate. Obstacles such as ignorance, which hinder contemplation of Ēmperumāṇ, will recede.
