எனது நெஞ்சில் இருப்பவன் கண்ணன்

2279 கொண்டுவளர்க்கக் குழவியாய்த்தான்வளர்ந்தது *
உண்டதுலகேழும்உள்ளொடுங்க * - கொண்டு
குடமாடிக் கோவலனாய்மேவி * என்னெஞ்சம்

Simple Translation

2279. The lord who was born on the earth, raised in a cowherd village as Nandan’s son, grazed the cows, danced on a pot and swallowed all the earth stays in my heart

கோவலனாய் — ஆயர்குலத்தில் தோன்றினவனே!; குடம் கொண்டு ஆடி — குடக் கூத்தாடி; என் நெஞ்சம் மேவி — என் நெஞ்சிலேயே; இடமாக கொண்ட இறை — நிலை நின்ற ஸ்வாமி; கொண்டு — சீராட்டி; வளர்க்க — வளர்க்க வேண்டும்படியான; குழவியாய் தான் — குழந்தையாய்; வளர்ந்தது — வளர்ந்த மிகச்சிறிய பருவத்திலே; உலகு ஏழும் — ஸப்தலோகங்களும்; உள் — தன்வயிற்றினுள்ளே; ஒடுங்க — ஒடுங்கும்படி; உண்டது — உட்கொண்டது என்ன ஆச்சரியம்!

kŏvalanāy — being born as a cowherd; kudam koṇdu ādi — dancing with pots on hand and head; en nenjam mĕvi — getting into my heart; idamāgak koṇda iṛai — the lord, considering( my heart) as the temple for himself; koṇdu val̤arkka — enabling others to cuddle and nurture him; kuzhavi āy — as an infant; thān val̤arndhadhu — he grew up mercifully; ul̤ odunga — shrinking within (in a corner); uṇdadhu — ate as food; ulagu ĕzhum — the seven worlds! (ḥow amaśing!)
