நாரணன் பேர் ஓது; நரகம் இல்லை

2247. See, O good heart, this birth is what has happened to us. If we praise the names of Nārāyanan resting on the ocean on a snake bed, that will be the way to avoid going to hell.

The Āzhvār now reveals that the spiritual benefit, the ultimate fruit borne from engaging oneself in matters relating to the Supreme Lord emperumān, is immeasurably great. However, to attain this state, it is paramount to relinquish all desire for worldly pursuits, reflecting deeply upon the utter ruin and sorrow that such attachments inevitably bring.
