நெஞ்சே! கண்ணனையே அழை

2230 மலையேழும் மாநிலங்களேழுமதிர *
குலைசூழ் குரைகடல்களேழும் * - முலைசூழ்ந்த
நஞ்சுரத்துப்பெண்ணை நவின்றுண்டநாவனென்று *
அஞ்சாதுஎன்னெஞ்சே! அழை.

2230. O my heart! Praise him and call to him without fear, saying, “You drank the poisonous milk from the breasts of Putanā as the seven mountains, seven worlds and the seven sounding oceans were all shaken. ”

Avathārikai (Introduction)

In this sublime verse, the Āzhvār declares a most glorious and comforting truth for all souls. Now that the Supreme Lord, Śrīman Nārāyaṇa, has chosen to grace the sacred hills of Thirumalai with His eternal and easily accessible presence, there is absolutely no cause for us to fear any impediment or obstacle on our path to attaining Him.
