மிக்கபெருஞ்சபைநடுவே வில்லிறுத்தான்மோதிரம்கண்டு *
ஒக்குமால்அடையாளம் அனுமான்! என்றுஉச்சிமேல்
வைத்துக்கொண்டு * உகந்தனளால் மலர்க்குழலாள் சீதையுமே. (2)

Simple Translation

326. Sita was overwhelmed to see the ring of Rāma, praised in all directions. She thought of the day when Rāma came to Janaka’s palace, during the yagna, broke the bow in the middle of a large assembly of kings and married her. Sita, decorated with flowers on her hair, exclaimed, “O Hanuman, is a marvelous sign!” and joyfully placed the ring on her head with respect.

pukaḻāl̤aṉ — king janaka whose greatness was; tikku niṟai — known in all directions; tī vel̤vi — conducted a yagna; nāl̤ — Rama attended it; cĕṉṟa — along with sage vishwamitra; naṭuve — in the middle of; mikka pĕruñcapai — that grand assembly; vil iṟuttāṉ — Rama broke the bow; motiram kaṇṭu — after seeing the ring, Sita exclaimed; aṉumāṉ! — o hanuman!; aṭaiyāl̤am — this ring and all the proofs; ŏkkumāl — matches well; vaittuk kŏṇṭu — She then placed; ĕṉṟu ucci mel — the ring on Her head; ukantaṉal̤āl — and rejoiced
