காமன் தந்தை

91 ஒருகாலில்சங்குஒருகாலில்சக்கரம் உள்ளடிபொறித்தமைந்த *
இருகாலும்கொண்டுஅங்கங்குஎழுதினாற்போல் இலச்சினைபடநடந்து *
பெருகாநின்றஇன்பவெள்ளத்தின்மேல் பின்னையும்பெய்துபெய்து *
கருகார்க்கடல்வண்ணன்காமர்தாதை தளர்நடைநடவானோ.

Simple Translation

91. He has on his right foot the sign of the conch and on his left foot the sign of the discus (chakra) and when he walks with his two feet, he leaves the marks of the chakra and the conch on the ground. He toddles and gives me a flood of the joy again and again. Won’t the dark ocean-colored One, the father of Kama, toddle?

ஒருகாலில் சங்கு — ஒருகாலில் சங்கும்; ஒரு காலில் சக்கரம் — ஒரு காலில் சக்கரமும்; உள்ளடி — பாதங்களின் உட்புறத்திலே; பொறித்து — ரேகையின் வடிவத்தோடு; அமைந்த — பொருந்தியிருக்கப் பெற்ற; இரு காலும் கொண்டு — இரண்டு பாதங்களினாலும்; அங்கு அங்கு — அடிவைத்த அவ்விடங்களில் எல்லாம்; எழுதினாற்போல் — சித்தரித்ததுபோல; இலச்சினைபட நடந்து — முத்திரை படியும்படி அடிவைத்த; பெருகாநின்ற — அவனது வடிவழகைக் கண்டு பூரிக்கிற; இன்ப வெள்ளத்தின் மேல் — இன்பவெள்ளத்துக்கு மேலே; பின்னையும் — மேலும் ஆனந்தத்தைப்; பெய்து பெய்து — பொழிந்து கொண்டு; கரு கார் கடல்வண்ணன் — கருத்த குளிர்ந்த கடல்வண்ணன்; காமர் தாதை — காமதேவனின் தந்தையான இவன்; தளர்நடை நடவானோ! — அழகிய இளம் நடை நடவானோ!

ŏrukālil caṅku — Kannan has conch in one foor; ŏru kālil cakkaram — and discus on one foot; pŏṟittu — in the form of imprints; ul̤l̤aṭi — on the soles; iru kālum kŏṇṭu — with those two feet; amainta — that has those imprints; aṅku aṅku — in places where he walked; ilacciṉaipaṭa naṭantu — He left the foot prints of conch and dicus; ĕḻutiṉāṟpol — as depicted; iṉpa vĕl̤l̤attiṉ mel — beyond the blissul state when; pĕrukāniṉṟa — seeing and enjoying his divine beauty; pĕytu pĕytu — He showers; piṉṉaiyum — more happiness; karu kār kaṭalvaṇṇaṉ — this Lord with dark cloud like complexion; kāmar tātai — the Father of Kamadhenu; tal̤arnaṭai naṭavāṉo! — wont He toddle!
