90 முன்னலோர்வெள்ளிப்பெருமலைக்குட்டன் மொடுமொடுவிரைந்தோட *
பின்னைத்தொடர்ந்ததோர்கருமலைக்குட்டன் பெயர்ந்தடியிடுவதுபோல் *
பன்னியுலகம்பரவியோவாப் புகழ்ப்பலதேவனென்னும் *
தன்நம்பியோடப்பின்கூடச்செல்வான் தளர்நடைநடவானோ.

Simple Translation

90. As the little Kannan runs swiftly behind his elder brother Baladeva who is praised by the whole world, he looks like a dark baby mountain running swiftly behind a large silver mountain. Won't the little child running behind his good brother toddle?

முன் நல் ஓர் — முன்பு ஒரு அழகிய; வெள்ளி பெருமலை — பெரிய வெள்ளிமலை; குட்டன் — ஈன்ற குட்டி; மொடுமொடு — திடுதிடென்று; விரைந்து ஓட — வேகமாக ஓட; பின்னை — அதைப்பிடிக்க பின்; தொடர்ந்தது ஓர் — தொடர்ந்து ஓடிய ஓர் ஒப்பற்ற; கருமலைக் குட்டன் — கருத்த மலை ஈன்ற குட்டி போல்; பெயர்ந்து — இடம் பெயர்ந்து; அடியிடுவதுபோல் — நகர்ந்து ஓடுவது போல; பன்னி உலகம் பரவி — உலகம் அனைத்தும் சேர்ந்து துதித்தாலும்; ஒவாப் புகழ் — எல்லை காணமுடியாத கீர்த்தியையுடையவனாய்; தன் நம்பி ஓட — தமயனான பலராமன்; தன்னுடைய தமையன் — முன்னே ஓடிக்கொண்டிருக்க; பின் கூடச் செல்வான் — பின்னே உடன் சென்ற பெருமான்; தளர்நடை நடவானோ! — அழகிய இளம் நடை நடவானோ!

muṉ nal or — once a beautiful; kuṭṭaṉ — boy (Balarama) who looked like he was giving birth; vĕl̤l̤i pĕrumalai — by a big silver mountain; mŏṭumŏṭu — suddenly; viraintu oṭa — ran fast; piṉṉai — and to catch him from behind; karumalaik kuṭṭaṉ — a child (Kannan) who looked like a dark mountain; pĕyarntu — that uprooted; aṭiyiṭuvatupol — and moved places; tŏṭarntatu or — He ran continously; paṉṉi ulakam paravi — even if praised by the entire world; ŏvāp pukaḻ — He is the One with limitless fame; taṉ nampi oṭa — the brother Balarama; taṉṉuṭaiya tamaiyaṉ — ran ahead of Him; piṉ kūṭac cĕlvāṉ — the Lord who went behind him; tal̤arnaṭai naṭavāṉo! — wont He toddle!
