எல்லோரும் நாரணன் அடிகளையே வாழ்த்துவர்

2390 குறைகொண்டுநான்முகன் குண்டிகைநீர்பெய்து *
மறைகொண்டமந்திரத்தால் வாழ்த்தி * - கறைகொண்ட
கண்டத்தான் சென்னிமேலேறக் கழுவினான் *
அண்டத்தான்சேவடியையாங்கு.

Simple Translation

2390. Let us worship the beautiful feet of the lord of the world who heard the request of Shivā, poured water from the pot of Nānmuhan, recited a mantra from the Vedās and made the skull of Nānmuhan fall from the palm of dark-necked Shivā.

நான்முகன் — நான்முகன்; குறை — தன் குறைகள்; கொண்டு — தீரப் பெற்றதும்; குண்டிகை நீர் — கமண்டல தீர்த்தத்தை; பெய்து — வார்த்து; மறை கொண்ட — வேதத்திலுள்ள; மந்திரத்தால் — மந்திரங்களினால்; வாழ்த்தி — மங்களாசாஸனம் பண்ணி; ஆங்கு — அங்கு; அண்டத்தான் — திருவிக்கிரம பெருமானின்; சேவடியை — அழகிய திருவடிகளை கழுவினான்; கறைகொண்ட — விஷத்தின் கறையுடன் கூடின; கண்டத்தான் — கழுத்தையுடைய சிவனின்; சென்னி மேல் ஏற — தலையில் அந்த தீர்த்தம் விழ; கழுவினான் — கழுவினான் இருவர் குறைகளும் தீர்ந்தன
nānmugan — brahmā; kuṛai koṇdu — reminiscing his shortcomings; kuṇdigai nīr — the water in kamaṇdalam [water pot used by ascetics]; peydhu — pouring; maṛai koṇda — present in the vĕdhas [sacred texts]; mandhiraththāl — with hymns such as purusha sūḵtham etc; vāzhththi — praising; āngu — during that time (when emperumān measured the worlds); aṇdaththān sĕvadiyai — the divine feet of that supreme entity [emperumān]; kaṛai koṇda kaṇdaththāṇ senni mĕl ĕṛa — ensuring that (the divine water from emperumān’s divine feet] fell on the head of rudhra who has poison in his throat; kazhuvinān — cleansed
