2457. Songs, literature, stories, the Puranas, fire, the large sky, the laws of Manu that all the world follows, and the four Vedās are only the creation of Māyan’s māyā.

பாட்டும் முறையும் — இயலும் இசையும்; படு கதையும் — இதிஹாஸங்களும்; பல் பொருளும் — பல அர்த்தங்களுள்ள புராணங்களும்; ஈட்டிய தீயும் — செறிந்த அக்நியும்; இரு — விசாலமான; விசும்பும் — ஆகாசமும்; கேட்ட — கேட்ட; மனுவும் — மனுஸ்ம்ருதியும்; சுருதி — எழுதாமலே குருமுகமாக கேட்கப்பட்ட; மறை நான்கும் — நான்கு வேதங்களும்; மாயன் — ஆச்சர்ய சக்தியுடைய பெருமானின்; தன மாயையில் — ஸங்கல்பத்தினால் உண்டான; பட்ட தற்பு — தத்துவங்களாம்

Avathārikai

When the revered Āzhvār was questioned, "What is the reason for your not directing your praise towards any other being?", he graciously responds with this pāśuram. He reveals that all words in existence, along with the very meanings they convey, have been brought into being solely through the divine and unfailing saṅkalpa, or volition, of Emperumān.
