திருமாலின் அடிசேர்ந்து வாழும்வகை அறிந்தேன்

Simple Translation

2340. I found the way to survive worshiping the feet of the dear lovely-eyed sapphire-colored lord adorned with long thulasi garlands that make him look like a dark mountain on which a waterfall flows.

In the preceding fifty-seventh pāśuram, the Āzhvār had resolutely instructed his own divine mind, declaring, “kariyān kazhalē theruḷ” (Clarity is found only in devotion to the sacred feet of the dark-hued Lord). Now, in this subsequent pāśuram, he moves beyond mere instruction to immerse himself completely in the direct and blissful experience
