2308. How could they have any troubles if his devotees reach and worship the dark ocean-colored lord, the origin of everything, who churned the milky ocean and rests on the sea on Adisesha?

காரே மலிந்த — மேகம் நிறைந்த; கருங் கடலை — கருங்கடலை; நேரே — தானே முன்னின்று; கடைந்தானை — கடைந்தவனும்; காரணனை — ஜகத்காரணனுமான; நீர் — பாற்கடலில்; அணைமேல் — ஆதிசேஷன் மேல்; பள்ளி — பள்ளி கொண்ட; அடைந்தானை — பெருமானை; அடைந்து — அடைந்து என்றாவது; நாளும் — ஒரு நாள் யாராவது; துயர் உழந்தார் — துன்பப்பட்டவர்; யார்? — உளரா?; துன்பு உற்றார் — துன்பப்பட்டவர் யாரவது; ஆண்டையார்? — எங்கேயாவது இருக்கிறார்களா?

kārĕ malindha karum kadalai — the dark ocean which is full of clouds; nĕrĕ kadandhānai — one who stood in the forefront and churned; kāraṇanai — one who is the cause for all the worlds; nīr aṇai mĕl pal̤l̤i adaindhānai — one who is reclining on thiruppāṛkadal (on ādhiṣĕshan); adaindhu — after attaining; nāl̤um thuyar uzhandhār ār — who suffered even for one day?; thunbu uṝār āṇdaiyār — where are those who experienced sorrow (like that)?
