செங்கண்மாலையே என் வாய் வாழ்த்துக

2298 சென்றநாள்செல்லாத செங்கண்மாலெங்கள்மால் *
என்றநாளெந்நாளும்நாளாகும் * - என்றும்
இறவாதவெந்தை இணையடிக்கேயாளாய் *
மறவாதுவாழ்த்துகவென்வாய்.

Simple Translation

2298. All the days I have lived in the past, and the days I live in the present and the future are good days if I constantly praise the lovely-eyed Thirumāl. May my mouth praise him.

செங் கண் — சிவந்த கண்களையுடைய; மால் — திருமால்; எங்கள் மால் — எங்களிடத்தில் பேரன்புடையவன்; என்ற நாள் — என்று சொல்லும் நாள் உண்டானால்; சென்ற நாள் — கழிந்த காலமும்; செல்லாத — இனி வரப்போகும் காலமும்; என் நாளும் — எல்லா காலங்களும்; நாள் ஆகும் — நல்ல காலமே ஆகும்; என்றும் — ஒரு நாளும்; இறவாத — அழிவில்லாத; எந்தை — எம்பெருமானின்; இணை அடிக்கே — இரு திருவடிகளுக்கே; ஆளாய் — ஆட்பட்டு; மறவாது என் வாய் — மறவாமல் என் வாய்; வாழ்த்துக — அவனையே வாழ்த்த வேண்டும்
